Our History


In Fayetteville Since 1850
David H. Decker & Jeremiah Decker establish the firm in 1850 located at the corner of Genesee and Mill Streets opposite Beard Hotel (present day Genesee Street at the top of the bridge).
In Manlius Since 1865
James M. Rancier, a crafter of furniture in Manlius begins to supply coffins and undertaking services in 1865 from a building at the intersection of Fayette and Seneca Streets (currently the site of the medical center).
In Minoa Since 1938
