Obituary for Robert J. Graham

Robert J. Graham, 82, of East Syracuse, passed away May 21, 2015 at the Cottages at Garden Grove in Cicero from a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Bob was born at home on Hubble Avenue on March 25, 1933. He graduated from Eastwood High School and served 2 years in the US Navy.
He worked at Community General Hospital in the Maintenance Department and had the nickname of Light Bulb Bob, as he was the one who kept track of the lights all over the facility along with his other tasks.
Bob was a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church, a member and retiree of Local Teamsters 317 and a volunteer for several years at the CNY SPCA.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Nancy (Cooper) Graham, several nieces and a nephew, and greatly loved cousins. He will also be missed by his horse, Stormy, and his devoted dogs Bailey, Gulliver, Monty and Penny.
Calling hours will be from 2 pm to 4pm on Wednesday, May 27 at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd, Minoa. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the Hillside Memorial Cemetery in Central Square.
