Condolence: To the family of Mr. Robert F. Allen: Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Mr.Allen. As a member of the Information Systems organization at Carrier Corporation, it was my privilege to work for and with Mr. Allen from the time I started at Carrier (1961) until his retirement in 1987. In honor of his memory and as a tribute to the gentleman he always was, he will always be referred to as “Mr. Allen” in any of my conversations. May he rest in peace. Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss!!I worked at Carrier from Oct 1958 till Dec 1987. I got the know Bob thru my position as program manager for new products for TR2. He knew that I tuned pianos as a side line and Asked me to tune his piano for many Christmas' because his daughter would come and he wanted the piano to sound good. I liked him very much as he was a very great leader and I respected him for his leadership skills. Just before the Christmas shutdown he would walk around TR2 and wish the hourly employees a Merry Christmas.
