Obituary for Michael Flanagan

Michael John Flanagan, 62, of Durhamville, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Burlington, VT; attended elementary school in Burlington, VT and graduated from Pine Ridge High School in Williston, VT.
Michael had a wonderful sense of humor , always enjoying a good joke. He loved spending time with his family. He was a devoted father and spent so much of his time with his son, teaching by example, his kind and gentle ways. Michael loved the outdoors and many enjoyable hours were had fishing and boating on Lake Champlain in Vermont. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and loved music, always ready to talk about Rock Bands and the music concerts he attended.
Michael’s kindness and helpfulness were a bright treasure for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his father, Dr. Martin Flanagan and his beloved wife, Terri Loomis Flanagan.
Michael is survived by his son, Matthew Flanagan; his mother Roberta Benvenuti (Murray Daitchman); his sister, Melissa Flanagan; niece, Jessica Siemucha and sisters-in-law, Tammy (Rob) VanVleck, Andrea McLaughlin, Melanie Williamson as well as Michael’s kind and generous neighbors, Walt and Connie Hiscock.
