Obituary for Lois Ann Bolton

The Lord has called our beloved Lois after several years in a battle with Alzheimer's. It being the devastating illness that takes your loved one from you twice; we feel blessed that she is now at peace. Lois (77), has been a resident of Syracuse the majority of her life. She was employed many, many years by the American Arbitration Association. After she retired, she enjoyed her time with friends and family.
She is predeceased by her parents, Edward Bolton and Marjorie Gibbs; and 7 siblings. Lois leaves behind one brother, Robert Bolton of Arizona. She is loved by many nieces and nephews, and even started gathering the “greats”. She lived a wonderful life pouring all her love on family and a few close friends.
We want to express our gratitude to her caregivers at Loretto’s Heritage House and later to the members of Van Duyn who tended to her needs.
Family and friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. A service will follow the calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204-1361.
