Timothy Seth Brower,52, of Fayetteville passed away Friday. He was born in Bloomington Indiana, grew up in Chapel Hill North Carolina. He attended Hope College, NC State University and Guilford College earning a BA in Art and Philosophy. He received an MFA in sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a masters in Architecture from Syracuse University.
He and his wife Holly Greenberg met in Chicago, were married on Nantucket Island and moved to Fayetteville where they renovated a decommissioned church into a home and workshop for his growing interest in 3-D printing, her career in printmaking. With the birth of their sons, Tim created imaginative new spaces in the lofty church for the family to work, play and sleep.
He was an avid bicyclist, runner and swimmer; and passed on a love of technology to his sons. He will be missed by his many friends and family.
Timothy Seth Brower is survived by his wife Holly, their children Gulliver and Eisen, his siblings Ann and David, parents Dave and Lou Ann, sisters-in-law Catherine, Fifi and Laurel, nephews Naveed, Shaan, Nicholas, Benjamin, Kyle, Jared, and nieces Kara and Hannah.
A memorial service will be held in his honor in Syracuse NY on Sunday February 5. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are invited to contribute to a fund that is being established to support Gulliver and Eisen’s college education.
