Jane M. Shaw, 87, of Kirkville died Monday peacefully in her sleep. Born in Oneida, she graduated from Faxton Hospital School of Nursing in Utica. As a registered nurse, she worked at Oneida City Hospital and later at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Jane was a member of the Minoa United Methodist Church. Jane loved her family and the time spent with them.
She was predeceased by her son, Robert A. II. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert A.; sons, Kenneth H. of Clockville, Ralph R. (Laurie) of Blossvale and Steven J. (Jan) of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; sisters, Louise Hammon and Connie Haslauer; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday at the Minoa Methodist Church, 250 East Ave., Minoa. The funeral will follow the calling hours. Burial will be in Minoa Methodist Cemetery.
