Rose Barbagallo Welch
Rose Welch, 91, of Inverness, FL and formerly of Kirkville, died Sunday in Florida. Born in Syracuse, Rose retired in 1984 from Carrier Corporation. She was a member of the Jayco Bluebirds and Carrier Women’s Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd D.; parents; sisters, Mary Decker and Laura Hunt; and brothers, Peter and John Barbagallo.
She is survived by her children, Floyd (Cathy), Gary (Nora) and Carmel (Steve) Wilson; her companion, Gardner L. Miles; grandchildren, Ambre, Janet, April, Tommy and Mary; and great-grandchild, Declan and Shea.
Family and friends may call from 4-7 pm on Friday at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd., Minoa. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
