Judith "Judy" B.  DeGrenier
Judith B. DeGrenier, 79 of Manlius passed away Friday evening February 10 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Pittsfield, MA on February 27, 1937, she was the daughter of Lewis Barlow and Helen Patricia Gowdy. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School, Pittsfield MA. Judy was a Divisional Organizer with Princess House Products for 25 years and when she retired from sales she joined the food demonstration department at BJ’s.
Judy enjoyed reading, traveling, puzzles and was an active member of the Folksmarch Walking Group. She loved spending time with her family near and far, especially with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased, by her parents Lewis Barlow and Helen Patricia Gowdy; stepfather, Eastman P. “Hank” Gowdy; brother, Harry “Ted” Barlow; and sister Jane Beemer. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Frank A. DeGrenier; three daughters, Patricia A. Ellis of West Monroe, NY, Jane D. (Carl) Salyer, Crofton, MD, and Susan A. (Richard) Barber of Nashua, NH; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Lewis (Barbara) Barlow of Falmouth, MA; sister-in-law, Dora Barlow of Enfield, CT; several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep gratitude the nurses and staff of Hospice of CNY for their services during the last eight months of her life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10 am at St. Ann's Church, 104 Academy St., Manlius. A gathering will follow the service at the DeGeniers Home.
