The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eugenia Karmen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

There are many things I recall from my days working at the Heritage. Your mom was always in good spirits even when she didn't recognize me.
You always found ways to cheer her up with your visits, taking her out to lunch or dinners. She was lucky to have you by her side. Even when her dementia progressed, you made sure she had something to look forward to. It is always sad when we lose someone we care for deeply. I hope you can console yourself by the memories you have of her and the knowledge of how important you were to her.
