Obituary for Donna L. Ashworth

Donna L. Ashworth, 71, of Kirkville, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday surrounded by her family. She was an active member of the St. Mary’s Parish in Minoa, NY and retired in 2000 from the Sears, Roebuck Company. Her family meant everything to her and she was never happier than at her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, concerts and musicals. She enjoyed spending time with her family at Otter Lake. Donna was predeceased by her parents Peter and Emma Acquisto.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, James; daughters Lisa DeVona, Karen (Michael) Dooling, Christa (Robert) Andrus, Mary (David) Mancini; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, March 28 from 4 to 7 pm at R. H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Road, Minoa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 29 at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Church, 401 North Main Street, Minoa. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Minoa.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North Street, Liverpool, NY 13088
