Edward J.  Yaroski
Edward J. Yaroski, 66, of Minoa passed away Thursday March 30, 2017.
Born in Kingston, PA on July 6, 1950 he was the son of the late Edward and Arlene Yaroski. Ed was a graduate of East Syracuse Minoa High School. He was a Police Officer for the Syracuse Police Department for 23 years and retired in 1993.
Ed was an avid golfer at the The Links at Erie Village and Wa-Noa golf clubs. He was a member of the PBA and FOP, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother Michael. Surviving is his wife Jill of 46 years; daughter, Christine Wilks; sons, Brian (Heather) Yaroski and Kevin Yaroski; sister, Gail (Craig) Cunningham; brother, Richard Yaroski; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be Monday, April 3 from 4 to 7 pm at the R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Road, Minoa. A funeral service will follow the calling hours. A spring burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
