James, F. McGinnis, 89, of Manlius passed away Friday. James was born February 9, 1928 in Little Falls, NY. He married Rosemarie Roginski, also of Little Falls in 1951. James lived his life with a constant love for his family. After his retirement from the New York Telephone Company in 1989 he enjoyed traveling to Vera Beach, FL, with his wife. James also enjoyed camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
James is survived by his wife, Rosemarie; daughters, Ann Marie, Bernadette and Marlene McGinnis; sons, James (Judy), Timothy and Thomas (Marianne) McGinnis; brother William (Ginny) McGinnis; grandchildren, Paige Collins, Michael, Michelle, Ashley, Sean and Mary McGinnis; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Newell-Fay Manlius Chapel, 8171 Cazenovia Rd, Manlius. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Church, 4112 E. Genesee St. DeWitt. Burial will follow at Manlius Village Cemetery.
