Floyd E. Roberts, 66, of Kirkville passed away Thursday at home. He was born in Canastota the son of the late William and Bertha Roberts. He grew up in Perryville and attended Cazenovia High School. After high school he started working at Crouse Hinds until his retirement.
Floyd enjoyed restoring and modifying classic cars with his children. Floyd was an amateur antique dirt car racer. He loved spending time with his family and his greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandson.
He was a member of the Mid-State Antique Stock Car Club.
Floyd was a very hardworking, kind and considerate man.
Surviving are his daughter, Kristen Roberts; son Jeffrey Roberts; grandson, Robert Meade III; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Thursday at 6:00 pm at the R. H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd. Minoa.
