Condolence: Sorry to hear of Mr. Willcox's passing. I was in his English 12 class 1st. period and it was the best class I ever had in high school. His love of Beowulf and the New York Giants was great. Had a great dry sense of humor that I tried to adopt. Thoroughly enjoyed his stories and his comments. He called one of my papers "bovine excrement". Just wish I had gotten to know him personally. Condolences to his family and friends. Very sorry for your loss.

Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Willcox. He was my teacher in high school. He was a special man and one of my favorite teachers, if not my absolute favorite. He really did make a difference in the lives of so many students throughout the years, including mine. May the Lord hold him tight in eternity and give his loved ones peace. "Miss Sassi" I send my love and sympathy to you too. I don't know if you remember me--- Linda Porpiglia. I am sorry for you and your family's loss of this great man.

Condolence: So sad to learn of the passing of one of my favorite high school teachers. It was so long ago, but I still have such wonderful memories of my English classes with him. He was just a great guy. I hope the memories you have will make the days ahead just a little bit easier.

Condolence: Joanne, I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family. I was lucky enough to have both of you in school. I remember him and I loved the ham n cheese lunches. He would send me out of class 3 min early and give me money so I could get there first and get him one.We ate lunch together those days and he was hilarious! He was the greatest. One of the teachers I remember the most. He will be missed.

Condolence: Dear Phil, As I sit at the computer attempting to write this through eyes blurred with tears, I am struck by the ache from your passing and the void it has carved into my life. Oh, how I will miss the canal walks when we would laugh uproariously, cure all the troubles of the world, and fondly relive our youths and young adulthood. I have also lost my email pal, whose constant missives of wit and wisdom, whether I as five miles away in Kirkville or separated by 1,500 miles in Naples, always brightened my day like the Florida sun. I must admit to you, what entered my inbox was infinitely funnier than what ended up in my outbox. You were the master. However, bemoaning all I have lost is not nearly as significant as celebrating those memorable moments I have relished during our years of friendship. I simply want to say, "Thank you, my Friend, if you catch my drift.!" Pen pals forever, Dave

Condolence: Dear Mrs Willcox- Mr Willcox was my English teacher in tenth grade(1988) and you were my AP History teacher in 11th grade(1989). I remember both of you fondly. Both of you touched my life in a good way. I remember going to your home to study for the AP exam ( I got six college credits for that exam!!) there I got to see a different side to Mr Willcox- the non-teacher side 😃 How wonderful that you both cared so much about your students. I am sad for your loss and I will pray for you. I don't remember all my teachers but I actually have thought of both of you as years passed- especially when I drove through Fayetteville. May the peace of God guard your heart and mind as you go through the next days, weeks and months. Much love- Kelly Piechowicz

Condolence: Mrs Wilcox, I am so sorry for your loss. You and Mr. Wilcox were by far my favorite teachers. If I have one regret it's that I never came back to say "hello". I always wondered how you and Mr Wilcox were doing. I tell my kids how we helped moved you guys in to your home in Fayetteville. I wonder if that is allowed today. Lol. I reminded Joe Morini just the other day how I scored higher than him in AP history. It still bugs him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care. Scott Micale

Condolence: Joanne: So sad to learn of Phil passing away. Heartfelt sympathy to you and all. Some of my fondest memories are of time spent together on the farm working and having fun with Phil. Condolence: Mrs. Willcox - so sorry to hear this news. I was one of your students in 1988 and I fondly remember going to your home for an AP History party...and there I saw you both not as teachers but as a very happy couple. He had a great life. I am sorry for your loss.
