Obituary for Maryann Ricci

Maryann “Rickey” Ricci of Fayetteville passed away after a short illness. She was born in Canastota, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Bellino. She worked as a secretary for Branch Motor Express in New York City, where she met and married her husband of 68 years, Aldo. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker in raising their two children. She enjoyed downhill skiing, bowling and golf for many years. She was a member of the Green Lakes and Olde Oak golf leagues. She was an active member of the Limestone Antiques Club; a member of several bridge groups; and volunteered for Meals on Wheels and the annual Ski & Skate Sale. She also knitted many woolen scarves which she donated to Good Will.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Aldo; daughter, Donna (Robert) Garrow of Castleton, VT; son, Bruce (April) Ricci of Onancock, VA; grandson, Jason Garrow of Montpelier, VT; and great-grandchildren, Alexander and Andrew Garrow.

Family and friends may call from 10 am to Noon on Friday, July 7th at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The service will follow the calling hours. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in DeWitt.
