Jim, rust in vrede.
Een grote omhelzing, Ingrid

Condolence: To Nanda and Professor Weeks's family I extend my deepest sympathies for your loss. Professor Weeks was one of my favorite professors at SU Law and I not only learned a great deal from him, but I saw first-hand his influence in the extended legal community. He was highly regarded, well liked and a true scholar and mentor to his students, including me. I am saddened by the news of his death and I hope you take comfort in the knowledge that we all loved and respected the great lawyer and professor, James Weeks.

Condolence: Professor Weeks was a friend and mentor while I was in law school. I recall Professor Weeks teaching a summer seminar course from his flat, then near Thorndon Park. He had the ability to make us feel like colleagues, while still being the skilled teacher and leader. I enjoyed many memorable and happy days learning from him. Rest in peace. My thoughts are with you.

Condolence: My prayers for comfort and peace to Professor Weeks' family - I enjoyed his trial practice course at SU College of Law, and remember fondly his "war stories" from the courtroom trenches.

Condolence: My sympathies to Professor Week's family. For those of us fortunate to have him as a teacher at the law school, more years ago than I would like to admit now lol, we got someone who cared about the law and about us, the new lawyers to be. Classes were always interesting, Professor Weeks made them more so by the use of examples and making the examples sometimes absurd and funny to prove a point which was always to think critically about the purpose of the law in a given situation. I know I and others have used that lesson throughout our careers. His lessons have and will carry on his legacy which was a love and respect for the law.

I think fondly of Jim often and am grateful that I had him as a mentor and "Boss", in addition to teacher and coach, in Law School. I pray for your strength in the days and weeks ahead.
