Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Merle Nash can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Merle L. Nash

Merle L. Nash, 78, of Bridgeport, NY and Vero Beach, FL died of a sudden illness. Born in Syracuse, Merle grew up in Manlius and graduated from F-M High School and Canton ATC. He worked for Agway for 45 years and then retired to Vero Beach, FL.

Merle was a loving husband and father; an exceptional cook and a lover of music. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time at camp.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith Brossus Nash; sons, Paul (Sally) Nash and Greg (Korie) Nash; daughter, Sherry (Ken) Czarnecki; nine grandchildren; and sisters, Janet Dingman and Ila Taylor.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mabel Nash; and brothers, Chuck and Lewis Nash.

Services will be private.
