Obituary for Robert Regnoll Scott

Mr. Robert Regnoll Scott, 89 years old, of Menorah Park, passed away August 13, 2017.

Bob was born in Seattle and grew up in San Francisco with his parents, his brother, Don, and sister, Jean Carol. As a young man, Bob served his country in WWII in the U.S. Navy on a submarine tender in the Pacific. While in the Navy, Bob met and later married the love of his life, Ruth Edgerly of Hampton Falls, NH. Bob and “Babe” were married in Hampton Falls, NH on August 27, 1950.

The majority of Bob’s career life was with the United States Departments of Treasury and Justice.

Bob loved to boat, fish, walk, read, spend time with his family, and winter in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Bob and Ruth travelled often through the United States and parts of Europe. Bob was a classic gentleman and model husband, father, brother, father-in-law.

Bob spent many hours as a willing and able volunteer at the Theater in the Round near Salem, MA, at Salem Hospital in Salem, MA, and at Northeast Medical Center in Fayetteville, NY.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth; daughter Kimberly Scott (Greg Scammell); and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by their son, Treg Edgerly Scott.

There will be no services for Bob. He donated his body to science through SUNY Upstate Medical University's Anatomical Gift Program.
