Munir Maalouf, 83, died on September 23 after a long illness. He was born in Jerusalem, Palestine and retired from Carrier after 25 years of service as a Carpenter. His greatest accomplishment in life was bringing his family to the USA in 1968 from a war torn country and his brothers thereafter.

He leaves to celebrate his life his wife of 58 years, Angel (Bewardi); and two sons, Rami of Fayetteville and Sami (Carmel Minnoe) of Manlius; and their sons, M. Timothy and Mason Amin also of Manlius; a brother, Samir (Marika) of Connecticut; and sister-in-law, Cathy (Hawkins) of Oneida; and five loving nieces and nephews and their children.

He is predeceased by his parents, Sami and Wardi (Abdo); his brother, Zohair; and nephew, Jacob Maalouf.

Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Friday at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. A Masonic service will be held at 7:00 pm with the funeral service following.
