Obituary for Mary M. Woyciesjes

Mary M. Woyciesjes, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully Wednesday at home. Born in Utica, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Kathryn Cole.
When Mary’s family moved to Syracuse, she attended grade school at Blessed Sacrament, graduated from St. John the Evangelist High School, and earned a degree from CCBI.
Mary was a loving wife and devoted mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and summers at Chaumont Bay. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Parish “Church Mice”. Prior to residing in Fayetteville, Mary and her husband raised their children in Eastwood and were communicants of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Nicholas; five daughters, Mary Jo (Michael) Terrell, Patricia Relyea, Sandra (Anthony) Barbato, Jill (William) Lee, Kathleen (Vincent Ezzo) Cole; three sons, Mark (Connie), Michael (Michele), and Nicholas (Tanya) Woyciesjes; 29 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Rhea Gustafson and her son-in-law, Dan Relyea.
  Calling hours will Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
