Obituary for Anne S. Dickey

Anne S.  Dickey
Anne S. Dickey, 79 of Fayetteville passed away peacefully on Thursday. Born on July 26, 1938 in Bedford, Essex, England she was the daughter of RAF Pilot Clifford Skinner and Jane Skinner Sadoff and Sidney Sadoff. Anne graduated from Cazenovia High School in 1956, Syracuse University in 1960 and received her Masters in Education from Syracuse University in 1967. Anne was very creative and expressed herself in many ways. She was an elementary school teacher, a talented pastel artist and produced beautiful sewing and embroidery. Anne lived a life of dignity, grace and kindness.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Andrew M. Dickey; son, Andrew M. Dickey II (Terry); daughter, Jill A. Dickey; grandchildren, Cassidy and Cameron Dickey; sister, Sonia Davies (Kevin); and several cousins in the U.S. and the U.K.

Family and friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Monday at the Newell-Fay Manlius Chapel, 8171 Cazenovia Rd., Manlius. The service will follow the calling hours.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Central New York Community Foundation, 431 E. Fayette St., Suite 100, Syracuse, NY 13202. The family suggests you indicate the DoVES Committee if you wish.
