Obituary for Richard F. Blau

Richard F.  Blau
Richard F. Blau, 84, of Minoa passed away unexpectedly on Saturday. Born in Deansboro he graduated from Waterville High School. Served eight years in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Lockeed Martin. He was an amateur Radio with call letters WB2BGC and a member of the American Legion Post 1102.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty; son, George; brother, Nelson (Gail) Blau; sister-in-law, Dorothy Houseman; a special niece, Darlene Shantel and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Charlotte Maurer; and nephew, Jeffrey Blau.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Rd., Minoa. The funeral will be at 11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Verona Cemetery.
