Obituary for John C. Adler, Sr.
John C. Adler, Sr., 74, of East Syracuse passed away at home with his family. John retired from Lamson Corporation after 32 years. He was a communicant of St. Matthew’s Church in East Syracuse.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ellen C. Adler; children, Joseph (Cindy) of Montezuma and Julia (James) Adler-Deyett of Syracuse; grandchildren, Eden, Evan, James (Charleen), Kaylee (Adam), Noah (Amber), Emmaleigh and Ian; great-grandchildren, Skyler, Zoe, Noah, and Philip; sister, Mary Arroway; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, John C. Adler, Jr.; and brothers, Tony and Bill.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday at the R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Rd., Minoa. Prayers will begin at 9:45 am Monday at the funeral home and 10:30 am at St. Matthew’s Church in East Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minoa.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gregory J. Harris Military Courtesy Room, 5701 E. Circle Dr. #335, Cicero, NY 13039..
