Condolence From: Karen Keast
Condolence: Kara...I'm so sorry about your father. I remember all of our ESM basketball games all those years ago. He and your Mom were always there and always supportive and I was so appreciative of that. May the wonderful memories you have help to ease the sadness of losing him. Please know that I'm thinking of you and your family...

Condolence: Dear Fran and Family,
Frank and I found this poem very comforting when we lost his sister. I truly hope it does the same for you.
We follow a pathway that has no end
As we travel through life day by day,
Together with those who are dear to our hearts
And are there by our side, come what may.
But sometimes a loved one must travel ahead
For reasons that aren’t always clear.
And we’re left behind to continue along,
Missing one who is no longer here.
And while it may seem that the pathway has stopped,
It merely has rounded a bend,
And our loved one goes on to a much brighter place
Down the pathway that has no end.
Sending love and hugs,
Kathy & Frank

Condolence From: John Gates
Condolence: Dear Fran, Kara & Bill,

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you upon learning of the sudden passing of Red. I know it has been a few years since we've seen each other, but I will always look back with a smile when pondering our conversations with Red about all topics profound--and not so profound--dealing with international affairs, national and local politics, and, of course, the trials and tribulations of SU athletics. We wish you and your family peace, unity and fortitude following this most difficult loss. You are a strong and loving family and have nothing but our most profound sympathy--and confidence of your perseverance in His comforting grace.

Condolence From: David Patrick
Condolence: Dear Aunt Fran, Kara, and Bill,
My love and thoughts are with you and our family during this difficult time. I have so many fond memories of my visits with Uncle Red and all of you while growing up: the trips to Minoa to see you all were some of my favorite times from my summertime stays at Grandma's. And so many fond recent memories too -- I don't keep a lot of photos around my house, but one I've had up, even since I received it, is the one of all of us at Steve's house (about a year ago?). I'll miss Red's playful griping about Orange basketball, and his good-natured needling of me about when we're going to take our company public, and his overfull good nature and sense of humor. You had a great husband and father, my dad and Marilyn and John had a great brother, and I had a great uncle.
Love,
David
