Sharon A.  Rutledge
Sharon A. Rutledge went home to God on Monday in Syracuse, NY. She was born in Syracuse to Gladys and James Rutledge. Sharon was 76 years old.
She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University and studied Liturgy at St. Bernard’s at CRDS.
Sharon worked at Bristol Myers for 20 years, and as a Speech and Language Pathologist for five years. She worked at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Syracuse for several years, and retired as an Assistant Music Director at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fayetteville.
Sharon’s life has been filled with gratitude for friendships and spiritual friends. She will be remembered for her love of God, liturgy, music, spiritual reading, baseball games, and of course, dogs.
She delighted in her Irish ancestry and culture.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents, James and Gladys.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Fayetteville, on Thursday, December 14 at 11am. A calling hour will precede the mass from 10—11 am at church. Interment will be private at St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sister’s of St. Francis of the Neuman Communities, Mission Advancement Office, 6900 Buckley Road, Syracuse, New York 13212 or Francis House, 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse, New York 13208.
