Edith Payne, 94, of 330 Summerhaven Dr. N., East Syracuse passed away quietly at home on December 13, 2017. Edith had worked in the Fabius School Cafeteria. She had also been a cook at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Manlius.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter in 1978, her sister Ramona Slocum and brother, Cleon Garner. Edith is survived by her daughter, Joan; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday, December 18 from 10-11 am followed by a service at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens in DeWitt.
