Obituary for Marie D. Pickert

Marie D. Pickert
Marie D. Pickert, 76, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully at home. Marie lived in Potter County, PA during her early childhood and moved to Fayetteville at the age of 4. She graduated from Fayetteville High School and received her masters degree in Education from Syracuse University. She retired as a special education teacher from East Syracuse-Minoa School District elementary school. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Fayetteville.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Rick. She was predeceased by her brothers George and Bob Drake.

Family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11:00 am Thursday, December 21st at the United Methodist Church of Fayetteville, 601 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. A memorial service will follow the calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fayetteville United Methodist Church, 601 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville, NY 13066.
