Obituary for Mary D. Kelly

Mary D. Kelly, 84, passed away Saturday surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late J. Edward and Marion E. Young. After graduating from ESM High School Mary attended Syracuse University where she met the love of her life.

She enjoyed painting, skiing, playing tennis and golf, boating on the St. Lawerence River, and most of all spending time on Sanibel Island.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Robert T. Kelly; daughters, Donna Kelly, Patricia Kelly, Robyn (Joe) Biviano, Kara (David) Mapstone; son-in-law, Kevin Dwyer, grandchildren, Dylan (Jennifer) Bruns, Sadie, Maxwell, and Bridget Mapstone, Robert Dwyer, Mia Biviano; great-grandson, Jacob Bruns; several nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her daughter, Deborah Dwyer.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St. Fayetteville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 104 Academy St. Manlius. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
