The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Margaret Hobbs can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Margaret L. Hobbs

Margaret L.  Hobbs
Margaret L. Hobbs, 84, of Manlius passed away peacefully after a courageous fight with breast cancer. She was a graduate of Manlius High School and CCBI. She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Manlius. She was very devoted to her family and friends.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence and Michael Lennon; and her sister, Mary Susan Rosivach.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Hobbs (Louis Manzietti) of Syracuse and J. Kevin Hobbs (Christina) of Apex, NC; sister, Teresa Crowe of Manlius; and several nieces, nephews and two step-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 18th at Newell-Fay Manlius Chapel, 8171 Cazenovia Rd., Manlius. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Friday, January 19th at St. Ann’s Church in Manlius. Spring burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Pompey.

The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Jeffrey Kirschner, Samantha Burke PA and the staff at HOA Brittonfield.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
