Doris A. Hughes, 84, of Fayetteville died unexpectedly on January 25, 2018. She was born in Johnson City and graduated from Johnson City High School and Alfred University in 1956. She worked briefly for Norwich Pharmaceutical before working at Bristol Laboratory in Syracuse where she worked 40 years before retiring.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Isaac W. Hughes. She was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, John and Dorothy Wilson.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.
