Miss you lots Daddy.....I wish there was a phone in Heaven so I could talk with you. I think of you every day and all day, but what helps make it through is knowing you are right with me. Love you Daddy.

I met Fred in 1987 when I sold medical supplies and he worked at Birchwood Nursing Home. By the 90's I was supervisor at Fayetteville Post Office + Fred was the mail courier for F-M schools and I saw Fred every day. My son got involved with FFD + Fred was a member. I've kept in touch with Fred through Facebook. Always the gentleman, family + community were always important to Fred. Will miss him.

What do you say about Fred??? When I think back to all that I know of Fred and his wonderful family (Which I call my own) I think of all the wonderful lessons he taught me. We was a man of great integrity, values and honor. Fred was a great father and father figure. He had a sense of humor that you just could not be depressed around him. He kept things light and had the best stories. Fred loved his wife beyond words and his daughters were more valuable than gold to him. I will miss his kind words, his silly chuckle and goofy stories. He was an amazing man to grow up with. Although not blood related he was family to me. I will miss that smile and his words of wisdom. Heaven just got a bit cooler now that Fred is there. I truly believe he will be watching over us all and when you least expect it, he will pop into your mind some witty story that you just can't help but to laugh. Most likely at the most inconvenient time!!!! LOL. Thank you Fred (Dad Partridge) for all the years of kindness, life lessons and chuckles. As Jen said this is not Good Bye, it's see you later. And I know I will!!!! Much love to you for always being not only a wonderful father figure to me, but a true friend. May you reap all the wonderful rewards in heaven and I will someday see

Daddy, even though it was so hard to see you take your last breath I know that God has a plan for you! Why wouldn't he??? You where the best Daddy anyone could have asked for. My whole life was blessed in so many ways because of you!! You always made a impact in everyone's life that came in your path. You always had a story to tell us, GOD I am going to miss your stories. We had so many special moments, just the two of us, sneaking in certain places and taking sap from trees to make maple syrup, making Dandelion wine in the drive way as well as apple cider. You always loved picking berries all summer long and taking rides just because. Making me laugh so hard especially the time when you wanted to try a kayak and you slowly where tipping over belted in and saying, UMMMMM HELP!!! All I could do was just stand there laughing with the rest of the family. AWWW fishing, cleaning the fish together, i miss those days! There is so much more I can say but by the time I am done I would have a series of books! lol

Until we see each other again Daddy, I LOVE YOU!! You'r baby girl....XXOOXXOOXX

Grandpa! Fred was the best grandfather anyone could ever want. he always knew just what to say and knew how to make anyone smile. i remember not to long ago when he first met Jerry (my boyfriend) and he asked if i liked to lick his face. ha ha, it was so random but so...grandpa! anyone who has ever met him knows he is always the kind of guy who loves to see you smile and will never let you be down and sad. i still remember the story he told me of how pumpkin pie was made...ill never forget all your stories grandpa. i will always love and miss you.

What comes to my mind when I hear the name Fred Partridge, a devoted husband, devoted father, and a great father in law, and a terrific grandpa. There is an old saying “treat others as you would want to be treated”, Fred held true to this and even went above and beyond that, anyone who has known Fred for years or had the opportunity to meet him for a brief time would always get the Fred Partridge treatment and that would consist of having your life filled with laughter, joy, and happiness. It has been an honor and a great pleasure to have had Fred Partridge in my life as I am sure many of you would agree. So from this day forward my new saying is going to be treat others as Fred Partridge would.
Oh by the way Fred, one piece of advice from me while you are on your next journey. STAY OUT OF KAYAKS

You will be missed Fred

Your son-in-law Eric West

I have so many memories of wonderful, vivacious, funny, and loving Uncle Fred. One of my favorite memories is of you in your canoe with your trolling motor attached and fishing along the shore line at Grass Lake. I miss our week long vacations every summer at Grass Lake with all the family. You always had a kind word to say and a laugh to brighten our day. I hope you are enjoying yourself out on a lake somewhere fishing. You will be so very missed by me and my family and all those who knew and loved you. I will always be proud that I can call you my Uncle. May you rest in peace. Love you Uncle Fred.
