Patricia A. Burden, 72, of Jamesville, passed away on Monday. She retired as a cook manager from JD Schools after over 30 years service. Patricia was a devote Catholic attending Holy Cross Church. She enjoyed tending to her gardens. Patricia was predeceased by her husband Donald J. Burden, son, Scott Burden and grandson Michael T. Burden; her parents Nicholas and Mary Ruzekowicz as well as her sister Mary Jane Sherriff.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Kelly) Burden; brother Nick (Jackie) Ruzekowicz; daughter-in-law Theresa Burden; grandchildren, Marissa and Nicholas Burden as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, September 8 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 East Genesee Street, Fayetteville. A prayer service will begin at 9:45 on Friday, September 9 at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christin Burial at 10:30 am at Holy Cross Church, DeWitt. Committal will follow at Jamesville Cemetery.
