Obituary for Shirley Mae Hobbs
Shirley M. Hobbs, 93 of Manlius, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Feb. 12, 2020. She was born in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Clifford Moffett and Mary Ellen Hanslik. She worked for many years in the retail world including The Addis Co., Sibley's, and Chappell's until her retirement.
She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church. She was known for her passion of gardening, cooking, baking and was accomplished in many hand crafts. She had a kind heart, generous nature, and loving smile that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Her unconditional love and happiness will be greatly missed by all of us. Especially her wonderful husband of 72 years Guy E. Hobbs Jr., her children Nancy La Londe and Guy E. Hobbs III, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. As well as sister Virginia Bergman and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.
