Albert L. Desormeau, 76, of Jamesville, passed away at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Vocational High School. Al was a Master Plumber and a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local #81 for 50 plus years. He and Joseph Pellettiere formed a partnership and founded Nova Mechanical in Syracuse.
Al loved boating, reading and spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted, husband, father and grandfather. He made the world a brighter place and will be missed by all who loved him.
He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Sharon L. Desormeau in 2018; parents, Leo Paul and Esther Desormeau; and brother, Robert H. Desormeau in 2012.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly and John Bell and two granddaughters, Jodi and Kristina all of Jamesville.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, February 12 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The funeral will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 13 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jamesville-Walnut Grove Cemetery.
