Alvin Heyman, 93, of Syracuse, died January 9th at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Indiana, PA. While in high school he lettered in four sports and pitched back to back no hitters for the town baseball team. After high school, Al planned on attending Penn State to play football but enlisted in the Navy, serving during WWII. He was a graduate of Syracuse University. Al was a real estate manager for Acme Markets and later the office manager for Frost & Sullivan. For many years he organized Senior Tours.

He was predeceased by his wife, Doris Heyman. He is survived by his sons, Gary (Joanne) of East Syracuse and Steven (Amy) of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Scott, Megan, Daniel and Rachel; and companion, Lee Chalek.

There will be no services at this time.
