She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years Joseph Clemente; parents, Angelo and Pasqualina Fiore; brother and sister-in- law, James and Gladys Fiori; sister and brother-in-law, Helen (Fortunata) and Peter Testani; niece, Norma Mastroianni; and nephew, Fred Testani.

Mal, as she was known since childhood is survived by her children, Anita and Robert DeSarbo of Ballston Spa, NY, Reverend Joseph Clemente of Solvay, NY, Lisa and Mark Bethmann of Manlius, NY; grandchildren, Amanda and Rick Vance of Ganesvoort, NY, Robyn and Michael Mangini of San Francisco, CA, Alexander Bethmann of Rochester, NY, Rachel Bethmann of Rutland, VT; two great-grandchildren Ava and Leo Mangini; brother-in-law Salvatore (Elvira) Clemente; sisters-in-law Carolyn and Laura Clemente; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special Goddaughter Linda Haacker.

Mal’s greatest joy was raising her children and spending time with her family. She enjoyed knitting, volunteering for church events, shopping, and cooking the Sunday dinner, serving her homemade pasta and famous chicken soup, both of which she was known to transport long distances.
