Obituary for Andrew B. McVearry
Andrew B. McVearry, 22, of Syracuse, passed away December 1, 2019.
Andrew is survived by parents Ken and Cathryn, siblings Ailis, Abigail, and Alec, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents, and friends and neighbors.
Andrew was a graduate of Jamesville-Dewitt High School, was a National Merit Scholar, played in the pit orchestra for musicals, and volunteered in the Network Office. Andrew enjoyed games of all kinds, especially word and card games, and chess, and was a talented musician who played multiple instruments. Andrew’s intelligence, sensitivity, and kind sincerity will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 11 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (nami.org).
