Audrey Knapp, 87, of Jamesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Mary Smith.

     Audrey was a stay-at-home mother while raising her children and later worked for Syracuse University School of Social Work.

     Audrey enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading and gardening.

     She is predeceased by her  husband, Merrell Knapp; daughter, Lori Knapp; and sister, Jeanne Garrison.

     Surviving are her son, Martin (Kim) Knapp; daughter, Kristen (Peter) Barletta; sisters, Mary (Bill) Tily, Brenda Bex; brother, James Smith, grandchildren, Jennifer and Peter Barletta; great-grandchild, Avery; and several nieces and nephews.

     Calling hours will be held on  Saturday, December 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be made in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
