Mrs. Augustine (DiStefano) Hanlon, born June 2, 1924, passed away on Sunday February 23, 2020. Augie, as friends and family so kindly referred to her, received her bachelors and masters degree from Syracuse University.   She was employed by The Syracuse City School District as an English and French teacher, and retired at the age of 55.  She enjoyed another 40 years on this earth prior to her death.

She is survived by her daughters Susan Hanlon  of Fayetteville and Jean (Kevin) Murphy, as well as her beloved grandchildren Patrick and Danielle, all of Glen Allen, Virginia.

Private funeral services will be held at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel in Fayetteville, New York.
