I am so very sorry to hear of Mrs. Van Deusen's death. I grew up in the Collamer neighborhood, and although younger than any of the Van Deusen kids, my brothers (Mike and Terry) were friends with some of the kids. Mrs. Van Deusen and my mom (Kay) worked together at the Town of DeWitt as well, and everyone in the neighborhood knew each other - a close-knit family of sorts. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
