Obituary for Bonnie L Wassel
Bonnie L. Wassel, 75, of Manlius, passed away February 19, 2019 after a long illness.
Born in Syracuse on July 29, 29, 1943, she was the daughter of Irving and Anna Mae Chappell.
She is survived by her children, John (Mary) of Maryland, Cathleen (Robert) Ames of Binghamton and Melissa (Stan) Cadwell of Cazenovia; grandchildren, Andrew (Shania) Cadwell, Alexander Cadwell, Christopher Ames, Daniel Ames, Jeffrey Ames, Thomas Wassel and Kaitlyn Wassel; best buddy, Lee (Craig) Ghiotti; sisters-in-law, Judy Jenisek and Jean Wassel; brother-in-law, Michael Clifton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Wassel; sister Linda Clifton; and brother-in-law, Larry Wassel.
The funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at St. Ann’s Church, 104 Academy St., Manlius. Burial will be in Manlius Village Cemetery.
