Charmaine M. Hauff, 74, of Chittenango, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022.

   Born in Oneida on January 9, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Eleanor Smith. She was a graduate of Oneida Highschool. Charmaine worked for New York State Insurance Fund for over 30 years.

     She loved to be in her craft room making all sorts of crafts, as well as being a part of the Kirkville Krayzies ladies lunch bunch. Charmaine especially loved to spoil her grandsons.

    She was predeceased by her brother, Kurt Smith.

    Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Rudolph Hauff; daughter, Lesley-Anne (Michael) Valenti; grandchildren, Michael Jr. and Gage; brother, Craig (Pat) and Clark Smith; two nieces and a nephews.

   Calling hours will be Friday, December 16 from 3 to 5pm at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp Corners Road, Minoa. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 5pm. A private burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Minoa.
