Obituary for Christine Agnes Reynolds

     Christine Agnes Reynolds passed away at the Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville, NY on Sunday, September 18, 2022 due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease, age 66. She was born in Syracuse on September 24,1955 and grew up in Fayetteville, NY. After attending Nazareth College, she became an art teacher in the Rochester City School District and later inspired children through curriculum at the Discovery Center of the Southern Tier. After raising her kids, she went back to school for her Masters in Counseling from Liberty University. 

     Chris was a bright, creative and passionate person who brought color and light to so many. She was a deeply loving wife, mother and grandmother who worked hard to create rich traditions and memories her family will always have to cherish.

     Driven by her faith, her life was marked by service to her church and others. Through various organizations, Chris provided crisis pregnancy, gambling, substance addiction and pre-marital counseling to countless people. 

     Chris is survived by her husband, Scott Reynolds; two children, Lauren Carlyle and Greg Reynolds; and her five beautiful grandchildren, Ben, Sam, Anna, Abby and Luke Carlyle.

     Calling hours will take place from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 21 at the Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. A funeral service will take place at 10:00am  on Thursday, September 22 at the Eastern Hills Bible Church in Manlius. Burial will be in Manlius Village Cemetery.  Following the burial there will be a reception at the church.

    In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
