Obituary for Christo S. Vasiliades

Christo S. Vasiliades, 87, of Fayetteville died peacefully at Menorah Park. Born in Syracuse, he was the son of the late Steve (Stavros) and Jennie Carbone Vasiliades. Chris served aboard the USS Coral Sea as a radar man during the Korean War. Chris worked for Longley-Jones in property maintenance and in the construction field. He was the owner of 3R Construction- a repair, rebuild, remodel company. He remodeled and rented houses in Syracuse.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Gus (Constantine) Vasiliades and his son, Michael Chris Vasiliades earlier this year.

Chris is survived by his wife of 44 years, Martha Wert Vasiliades; son, Steve Vasiliades of Syracuse; brother Joseph (Linda) Vasiliades of Webster; granddaughter, Alexis Vasiliades and grandson, Tim (Shayla) Vasiliades both of Syracuse; and five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the United Church of Fayetteville, 310 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.
