Obituary for Craig S. Huff

 

     Craig S. Huff, 58,  passed away unexpectedly at his Liverpool home on December 10, 2022.  He was born in Evansville, IN. He lived in Syracuse, NY during his school years and graduated in 1982 from Henninger High School. He then attended Potsdam Crane School of Music, before serving in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic.  He was a successful quality control manager at various tool and die shops around Syracuse.  

     He was passionate about music, technology and movies.  He played in his school bands and during the summers with the Stan Colella All Star Band. His favorite movies were Armageddon and Avengers: Endgame. His favorite band was The Eagles. He enjoyed an abundant variety of technologies.

     He is survived by two sons, Robert J. Huff and Dylan Huff; step-children, Jordan Fleischmann and Jonathan Fleischmann; mother, Laurel Wilcox Huff; sister, Mindi (Dr. Samuel Tripp) Huff-Tripp; niece and nephew, Sophia and Sammy; step-grandchild, Jackson Fleischmann-Knight; and his faithful companion, Luna.  He was predeceased by his father, Robert S. Huff; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Lawrence Wilcox; and paternal grandparents, Beatrice Mettle and Marion Huff.

     Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The service will follow the calling hours at the funeral home.
