Cindy Cummings Buckley loved a day in the sun gardening, a glass of chardonnay, and a good book. She went to Cathedral High School in Syracuse and earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from SUNY Oswego and a master’s degree in math education from Syracuse University.
Cindy taught high school math in the Baldwinsville and Jamesville-Dewitt school districts, and was a beloved math tutor for young people from all over Central New York. She was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother who loved skiing with her family at Toggenburg, watching her grandchildren play sports, and traveling.
Cindy went peacefully to Heaven on January 5, 2023, surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Tom Buckley; adoring daughters, Shannon (Mark) Gleason, K.C.
