Obituary for David P. Murano

David P. Murano “Dave”, 70, passed away on April 15, 2023 with his family by his side.
Dave had a long and full career in retail, where he learned and practiced the Golden Rule:  treat others as you would want to be treated.
Dave had many interests - traveling with his family, especially to the Alex Bay area.  He loved sports and anything to do with Syracuse University basketball and football, was an avid San Francisco Giants fan, and would not take calls if the Miami Dolphins were playing.  Dave also took great pride in his lawn, always being the first in the neighborhood to mow in the spring and keeping it green and lush through even the driest days of the summer.
There were few people as generous with their time and talents as Dave, as he was always willing to help someone in need.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teri Palmer Murano, and sons, Robert and David (Kris) Murano and their children, his loving grandchildren, James, Kathryn and Sean Murano.  He leaves behind siblings, Tom (Lisa) Murano, Lisa (Kurt) Zorn, and Andi (Eric) Campbell.  Many other loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends mourn his passing.
Dave was pre-deceased by his parents, Gina and Al Murano, and his brother, Christopher Murano and sister, Regina Brown.
We would like to thank the many medical professionals who have supported Dave in the recent years.
Dave will be missed by many with fond remembrances of his wit, generous spirit, and kindness.
Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 20 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.  The funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, April 21 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse.
