Dolores A. “Dee” Ridley, 91, of Fayetteville died peacefully with family at her side. She was born in Schenectady.
Dee was an active communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville. She was a member of the Altar Society and also led the annual Hope Appeal for many years. She enjoyed beating people at cards, especially Bridge or Hand and Foot, and watching birds. She served on the Fayetteville Tree Commission. She was a branch manager at Empower Credit Union.
Dee was predeceased by her husband, David W. Ridley in 1973; sister, Bernadine and brother, Chester.
She is survived by son, David (Roxann) Ridley of Clayton; grandchildren, David (Maria) Ridley and Nicole (Brian) Rios; and grandchildren, David and Lina Ridley. A younger brother, Nicholas A. Mauro Jr. of Schenectady. Dee also raised a daughter, Donna
A calling hour will be from 9:00 to 10:00 am on Monday, December 19 at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville. The funeral Mass will follow the calling hour. Burial will be in Memory Gardens in Albany.
