Obituary for Dorothy I Tubbs
Dorothy I. Tubbs, 101, passed away peacefully. She was born in Pulaski the daughter of the late Frederick and Nina Johnson.
Dorothy graduated from Beaux Art School of Beauty Culture in Syracuse in 1939. She married Donald in 1940. For many years they ran a dairy farm and made maple syrup in Orwell. Later they moved to Pulaski where Dorothy continued to volunteer in many community organizations.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, sewing, baking and gardening. She will be remembered for her blue eyes and bright smile.
Surviving are her daughters, Jean Beers, Linda Jenkins; son, Clifford (Martha) Tubbs; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband of 38 years Donald; four sisters and five brothers.
Services will be private.
